Andrea Gambino is a former English/history teacher. She earned her BS in Middle Grades Education and MEd in New Literacies and Global Learning (North Carolina State University). She is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Education and Information Studies at University of California, Los Angeles in the United States. Her research centers K-16 teachers’ journeys and practices of critical media literacy.
